Hello,

I am 17 years old and was prescribed doxycycline hyclate for my severe facial acne. I started two weeks ago, taking two 100mg capsules per day. At first, it seemed like my break outs really calmed down but right now, I am breaking out horribly (like before)... Is this normal? Will I keep breaking out? How long does doxycycline take to work?

P.S. I've had severe acne for the past 3 years, and also moderate acne for the past 5 years... I've tried tetracycline and that did absolutely nothing for me.
