I have been using a neutrogena salycic acid wash for years and as of late it has been irritating my skin so i decided to switch to cerave...the irritation has stopped but now my face is super oily! is this normal? should i switch to something else or is my face adjusting or something? THANKS GOOD PEOPLE OF ACNE.ORG

Salicylic acid can make less skin oily, so it could be because you stopped using the neutrogena.

Hmm tough call. Maybe experiment with washes with acids that are less irritating? Neutrogena healthy skin is nice and I don't find it irritating. It contains less SA than the SA wash.
