Sup peeps. Just wanna give anyone feeling adventurous some tips.

I'm 24 and a male. I only recommend this for guys past puberty since we are probably not experiencing hormonal acne. Just like most people here I've been trying to beat acne for 10+ years. I was showering 2x a day every 12 hours religiously. Accutane, doxycycline, BP, epiduo, SA, tons of other antibiotics and crap that didn't work. This is what I'm doing now and it finally "feels right."

-No milk, gluten, sugar (NO Exceptions--learn how restaurants prepare foods and order accordingly)

-Run 20+ mins 5-6 days a week (my knees are fucked up so I only run 15-20miles a week, I'd like to be running 20-30)

-Shower once a day after exercising -- only water on my face SLS free shampoo/body soap

-SLS free toothpaste (I use sensodyne) and FLOSS correctly 2x a day -> crap growing in your gums taxes the immune system

-NO supplements except 500mg Vit C when sick

-TONS of vegetables (literally everyday) apple, avocado, tomato, broccoli, asparagus, brussel sprouts

^-> Salad for lunch 5 days a week, no dressing

-Get yourself some sea salt and make those veggies taste good (also helps you drink TONS of water)

-Drink over a gallon of water a day

-No drugs, cigs or alcohol -- If I do NEED a drink I'll go for hard liquors

-Spend every minute I can outside and barefoot (obviously will be much harder in the winter)

^->Eat outside, take walks outside, run outside, read outside, BE OUTSIDE

^->EXCEPT between the hours of 10am-2pm, minimize time outside in this 4 hour window

My skin is not perfect now. But I really do feel like I am getting close to something sustainable. This general positive outlook and the fact that I'm not tied to a 12 hour face power wash cycle have me thinking about my face so MUCH less. This has had a great cumulative effect and my anxiety is SO much better now.

Good luck and be safe!

Yeah I'm not going to post a picture of myself.

I guess it's possible I swallowed my accutane prescription incorrectly but I'm going to argue about which medication people should and should not use.

All I'm saying is if you are questioning whether you want to be treating your face with a 3 step program 2x a day for the rest of your life you might want to give this a go.

Again, I would only recommend this to males past puberty since hormonal acne is a different animal.
