I haven't use any SA or BP in years and since my more natural approach wasn't helping things I decided to give them another shot. I started with Paula's Choice Clear Regular Strength Anti-Redness Exfoliating Solution With 2% Salicylic Acid. I expected dryness and am moisturizing, but it looks really scaly and bumpy after using it 2 days in a row, once a day. Is this just a purging bump I need to get over or should I stop applying it. Photos are pre-use, 3 days after first application, and 4 days after first application.

I would say it's purging.

Thanks, I hope that's the case since I want to stick with it.

Yeah. I would stick with it, I'm sure it's just purging, the area doesn't look irritated at all.

Give it a few more days. A purge should only last for three days, and then immediately get better.

Still rather bumpy, but not quite as flaky or red anymore :)
