About 2 months ago I got a red mark near my cheek bone that appeared like it was going to be a regular pimple that came to a whitehead and then go away over time with very minor hyperpigmentation. However, this acne mark never came to a whitehead and it has now gone from a red mark to a dark mark. It has been there for roughly 2 months and the size and darkness of the mark has stayed exactly the same. It doesn't look like there's any indentation to indicate it's an actual acne scar, rather I just think it's some form of hyperpigmentation. I apply a topical Retin-A gel every night before I go to bed and this does not seem to be doing anything good. Everything I've tried has failed with this, such as apple cider vinegar toner, raw honey spot treatment, tea tree oil, and the retin-A. I attached a picture for you guys to see. Hope you can help me.
