what about like wax? or the chemical hair remover. I have peach fuzz below my ears (very blonde) but ofcourse im OCD and notice it. I just take a small pair of cosmetic shears and trim that area. I feel shaving will be obvious and may grow back odd/dark

my skin is too sensitive for that kind of stuff

i know that my hair wont grow scary or anyting LOL

but i know that those baby fine hairs actually help bring the oil out of your skin to prevent clogged pores ?

Speaking from experience, I got folliculitis when I tried to shave some fuzz on my jawline. I do not recommend shaving, but maybe a single blade razor (with no gel or anything) would be your best bet. Otherwise, try trimming or bleaching it. Electrolysis is the only permanent hair removal method though, and I would recommend that if you can find a qualified person to do that.

Do not try laser on your face though...it can trigger dormant hair follicles in close-by areas, and then you'll have an even bigger problem.

thanks of course im planning to use a single blade razor what is folliculitis?

hmm i just looked it up it doesnt look nice neutral.gif

anyways i have a question did you get them right after you shave?

because i remember one time i shaved my face and i developed cystic acne after like 3 weeks or so

i assume when my hair started to grow back oil piled up around the hair follicle and became infected?

is such a thing even possible or my bad breakout was just a coincidence?

If they're just really fine blonde hairs I would just leave them.

Shaving usually causes irritation for people with acne prone skin. I think like other people said trimming it with an electric razor or bleaching it are the best options. There is a facial hair removal cream men use on their heads and beard but that could cause even more irritation than shaving =/

try 'no no', it is designed for facial hair that you dont want to have.

It is quite big in japan...i have used it on side burns, my hair is black my skin is white...

If it is very light thin hair, I think you can use a razor. I have never had any issues using a razor once every couple of weeks or so when my lip area becomes a little more noticably fuzzy. Use cetaphil to lubricate the razor, and very lightly and careful shave the hairs. DO NOT PRESS DOWN. Try not to let the razor exfoliate your skin in anyway. Make sure you simply glide it across the well lubricated skin. When you are done, gently wash the cetaphil off and if you are paranoid, apply a little BP to the area.

I have never broken out bfrom shaving, but I may not be prone to folliculitis on my face. And, contrary to popular belief, shaving does NOT make your hair grow back thicker or darker. This is completly untrue.
