How To "prevent" Accutane Symptoms

So the last 3 years I've suffered with severe acne on my chest/back and body. I've had other cystic acne that has come and gone but the stuff on my chest/back has stayed with me the last 3 years. It's almost keliod's but I have to check with my derm and get their opinion.

It's not like I have a little acne, I'm blanketed with it. (don't know if blanketed is a word lol)

Tried 2 separate months of a holistic dieting. Nothing changed except rapid weight loss. Have done the regimen for 4 months straight (ruined a bunch of my shirts lol). Tried a bunch of crazy roots and compounds that I can't pronounce. Bought every cleaner/ cleanser, and had thousands of dollars worth of dermatology treatments.

This is the last resort.

Now to my question: I'm no stranger to the side effects, I've read dozens of testimonials the last 2 months and they scare the shit out of me and give me hope at the same time.

I was wondering though, if I go on it are there any recommendations as far as diet/cleansing to prevent or help aid with the side effects.

More importantly is there anything I shouldn't be doing while I'm on this?

Any recommendations will be much appreciated Thanks!

Don't tax your body with any sort of cleansing. You will need to consume fat with the accutane or it doesn't work, but stick with unsaturated fats and vegetable oils. Eat plenty of fiber and drink plenty of water. Stay active, but avoid any high-impact exercises or extreme weight-lifting. Stock up on moisturizer and lip balm.

Caffeine and getting very good sleep will reduce brain fog and fatigue

Keeping your family informed, spending time with friends, and being active will help mental health

Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration

Avoid alcohol

Use eyedrops, lip balms, and moisturizers as often as you can remember

Eat a high-fiber, high unsaturated fat diet. Avoid butter and fatty meats.

In my experience, the side effects were minimal. Towards the end of my course, there were days I completely forgot I was taking it (until I took the pills, of course).

Good diet, daily exercise and drink lots of water can help prevent acne and cystic acne from spreading all over. Of course daily exercise is a must. You can also see your GP or dermatologist to address the acne causing problem.

I have suffered from severe acne on face and keliods on chest and back for more than 5 years.. Now my acne and keliods are far better and its improving.. I have tried almost all the medicines available in the market... And I have consulted more than maybe 30 doctors.. I recommend to stay away from junk food.. Use a good face wash like sebamed, and a good moisturising soap for body, like dove. Eat lots of green leaves and fruits, drink water.. If u have severe acne, don't waste time, take isotretinoin tablets for a month atleast.. It worked wonders for me.. And for keliods, try kryotherapy.. It helped me with the keliods.. And use gels like hexilak silicon gel, or opexa gel for the keliods daily.. U have to message your keliods well with this gel daily.. Have patience and try it.. It worked well for me, hope it works for u as well..
