Hi team,
I gotta pretty intense zit poking through on my forehead right now and I just wanted to ask some questions about bringing it to a head. In the past I have used BP to make a red spot develop into a whitehead. But when the pimple is big though it creates a MASSIVE whitehead and when it breaks (shower, etc.) it bleeds and leaves a scar for about two months.
Right now I'm using tea tree oil on the red bump/cyst and I can see a head developing on it. This guy is going to be big. Probably about half the size of your pinky nail. What should I do once it comes to a full head? Should I keep putting tea tree oil on it once the whitehead develops? It just seems to accelerate their growth and it blooms into a huge mushroom growing off my head!
Frustrating eh. Look forward to any suggestions. I won't pop it intentionally.
Hmm I feel in the same position as you. Two small red bumps appeared on my cheek where I rarely break out so I decided to pop some BP on and now theyve come to big whiteheads. I feel even if they dont burst they will still leave a red mark. Ugh.
I dont know if making the spot come to a head makes it go away any faster?
I guess when it is a whitehead there's a decreased chance of it spreading or something. For me, it looks like 3 pimples have grown into each other. Gross situation and I don't know what to do next.
After they come to a head are you supposed to keep putting tea tree oil/BP on it?
When a poped zit is bleeding is a sign of not forming again in the same spot. I have the feeling that zits on forehead heal faster because of the bone. Anyway do open it with the use of a sterilized needle but dont push it hard. It will burst by itself once poped, or else it is not ready yet. Try to put some sudocrem on it. It is great for healing!

It's not so bad now but I know in a day or two it's going to start itching and that's when the pop-clock starts.
My cheeks look great right now but I balled out on a bottle of super smokey scotch and brownies a week or so back and my forehead is reminded me of it now for sure. What is sudocrem? Can you toss me an amazon link or something?

sudocrem is a diaper rash cream with high percentage in zinc oxide. zinc is actually doing the healing job. search it on ebay by the name sudocrem or diaper rash creams. there are several brands and anyone can do the same. sudocrem is just very familiar. other brands are penaten and desitin. whichever you decide to use is equally effective.
