Hi, Ive been to a dermatologist for more than a year and they are doing a good job keeping my face nice and clear ( just a few acne here and there ) but this past month until now I'm having severe acne breakouts. I still use the medications but I don't know why are my pimples spreading and taking a bit too long to be gone. I can also feel a tingling sensation on my acnes before (last few weeks) but not anymore which is I hope a good thing. My question is are these acne cystic? They are huge but after a few several days (3-6) they are becoming smaller and less puss but I just gotta make sure. And also the bigest of them, everytime I put my finger inside my mouth I can feel a little bump on the location of the biggest pimple ( that pimple only) so pls help.

Oww and edit-- they dont really hurt when i apply pressure onto them only hurts sometimes if theres a puss .. Thanks

That is definitely cystic acne. Been there. I cleared mine using cephalexin and amoxicillin. Ask your doctor for those antibiotics only. They are the most effective. For topicals ask for benzaclin and tretinoin. I have been clear for going on 3yrs now with this regimen and my acne was severe. You'll clear it up. Just be persistent. Peace!!;)

But it gets smaller everyday with just my normal medications. What do you think??

It looks cystic to me. Some of the lesions have multiple whiteheads meaning the infection is spreading and is deep in the tissue. Go and see your derm to get a definitive diagnosis. ;)
