Hello Acne.org family. Since past two months my face has been a disaster. Trough the last two/three years i've developed comedonal acne that i never gave attention to. Macro Comedones (tiny bumps) and comedones (kinda bigger bumps) all over my face. Cheeks particularly.

These two last months my face decided to start purging them while using differin. I used it 6 weeks and left it since my skin was progressively getting worse, i was getting marks, but mainly i left it because it was making my face extreme oily.

However,now (i'm not using any prescription meds) my most notorious comedones are transforming into postules,making my acne a moderate case.

I know that it is purging because every single pimple that i got,is from a comedone that was there.

Why is this happening ? Did differin triggered my body to purge these damn things,besides i stopped using it a long way ago ? Or just that my body decided to purge everything now ?.

My skin is normal oily. Comedones that leaves,don't come back. But literally my face is destroyed of every single comedone converting to a pustule and they are leaving marks,and some really non-noticiable scars.

I'm actually going to an esthetician to help this purge phase to happen quicker. She's really old school since she uses her fingers (with a tissue) and extracts infected blemishes and non inflamed ones.We also may starting doing some 30% glycolic acid peels.I already notice less comedones,but there are at least 100 more of them. And my face is already destroyed.

Do i have any other option more than extract all these buggers ? and then treat my marks ?
