I've been dealing with constant breakouts on both my cheeks area for a year now. It started in 7th grade and now I'm in 8th grade. Majority of the pimples are red and underneath the surface, and then after 3 days it turns into a whitehead. I tend to pop my pimples, but not with my fingers, I use a small needle and clean it with alcohol. It always leaves dark spots, even if I don't pop it. So now I have noticeable dark spots all on my cheeks areas. The products I'm using now are Ambi Foaming Cleanser and St. Ives Apricot Scrub. I use the Cleanser twice a day and the scrub once a day in the morning. I've been eating unhealthy lately and have stopped working out. I'm not sure if this is the cause. My mom said she'll buy me Cetaphil Cleanser for Sensitive Skin, but I'm not sure if that'll work. Help?
I have pretty much the same problem my friend.. I know it sucks and I guess we have to deal with it for a couple of weeks. Dark spots usually take forever to disappear so we have to wait. I'm almost only breaking out on cheeks with severe cystic acne :S I'm using epiduo and I've noticed a little difference, there seems to have less cyst but they appear more on the surface of my skin and it leaves some good red marks -.- Good luck!
