Hi! I am very interested in knowing what type of products everyone enjoys most to keep their skin balanced and clear? I suffered

with cystic acne in my past, and have tried numerous regimes. I am always interested in finding new remedies and oils that work

wonders. I decided to take some steps in launching my very own skincare line, and would love input from all of you on what you

enjoy, don't enjoy, anything! I am definitely going to take all of your responses into consideration to create something amazing for

all of us acne sufferers and skin junkies!! Thank you!!!

its odd- for me almost nothing.

Cerave Hydrating Cleanser about sums it up.

I really dont use a moisturizer or makeup on my skin because not only will i get pesky spots, but my rosacea turns into satin. I just cleanse to lightly clean the skin without stripping making it so i dont have to replace the moisture if i really scrubbed.

I get sad that i cant wear makeup but id rather not have to wear any and have clear skin then wear it makeup and not feel comfortable without it if that makes sense.

For me, most ingredients in typical skin care products break me out or give me clogs. I've been making my own oil cleanser lately and all my clogs except a few around my nose have gone away. I'm going to continue experimenting with different oils, and hopefully I'll find one that gets rid of the last of the clogs.

Good for you that you're launching your own skin care line! I hope you have a great team of cosmetic chemists! :)

Some OTC ingredients I like in particular: salicylic acid, glycolic acid, retinol, niacinamide, sodium PCA (2%+), pathenol, and glycerin.

Thank you all for your input! @avadakedavraacne if makeup irritates you then it is best to keep a fresh face anyways, always remember you are beautiful! @paigems I've tried a few oils such as tea tree oil and a maracuja oil ! Both worked great, I used the tea tree for my scarring and am using the maracuja oil now to help with my texture and to even out my skin tone. As far as clogged pores I like to use a sulfur mask, I've used a DDF one that worked great to clean my pores and even seemed to help my acne. You can get samples of it as Sephora if you just want to test it out! :) Thank you @MichelleReece I am taking all of those ingredients into consideration and can't wait for the products to be ready!

You're welcome!

Keep in mind some of these ingredients I've listed are pH incompatible, depending on the emulsion. Too bad you can't mix all the best ingredients!

I haven't ever tried maracuja oil, but I have used tea tree as a spot treatment, and I do like it. Oils that are good for acne prones typically include ones that are high in linoleic acid. Here's a list of oils with their linoleic acid content. http://www.news-medical.net/health/Oils-Rich-in-Linoleic-Acid.aspx

Meadowfoam and mineral oil are also typically considered non comedogenic because they do not contain oleic acids.
