Give it about 4 to 8 weeks, as with any acne treatment regimen. 1% SA is fairly weak. 2% SA is a little better, but not everyone can tolerate that concentration.

I'm skeptical about the "purging process" notion. It hasn't been studied much, and contact dermatitis/irritation can look like acne or just worsen the redness.

1% is so weak im using 10% glycolic acid lotion and it takes atleast a month so 1% would probably not even be worth it imo

I use the Regular Strength CLEAR line plus BHA 9 and it's getting better each day. I have moderate acne.

I also take several supplements.
