Take what for granted? Having clear skin I don't understand that part of the question, but for me , the only thing I hate is a person that is nice to you , right in your face , but when they think your gone or in bother room, they gotta bust out talking shit , like they are ever so fucking clever, then when you come back they act normal and smile in your face again like nothing happened, how the fuck do people live with themselves like that, or how people/ friends act superior when around you , like they are better cause they have a clear face. Ahaha.
Hoorahmiz,
I know exactly what you mean by take it for granted. I have friends who have never washed their face in their lives and have perfect skin without taking care of it whatsoever. Me on the other hand I treat my skin the best out of anyone i know and have to deal with breakouts. Thankfully i am almost clear with the help of Epiduo but it was definitely a hard battle. People who have never had a problem with acne have no idea how destructive it really is for ones confidence!

People don't take their clear skin for granted, they just don't have acne.....Jeeeezz it's acne you're NOT dying.
Be grateful that you have your health, somewhere in the world someone is dying with a disease and we over here whining about acne
GROW A PAIR!!!
It's just acne for crying out loud, people have are suffering with cancer, HIV, Lupus, Alzheimer's, and Etc....
I have acne on my face and back and i'm only on acne.org to get and seek advice and give advice about getting rid of acne.
Fare Thee Well, calm down. You are extremely immature and you misunderstood my post. You really really need to grow up. I never said it was the worst problem in the world. They do take their skin for granted. AMARSHGV gets what I'm saying. If you never had a problem with acne for years, you just don't understand.
Acne is defintely a disease, you think it's not? You're delusional. It affects a ton of people. Not only physically, but emotionally as well. I'm not comparing it to having Cancer or anything, but it can have the same emotional effect on a person. I'm confident as I can be with my acne. Other people would be down in the dumps all the time, but I'm strong. I just get annoyed by seeing other people with clear skin that don't understand what we go through on a daily basis trying to get rid of our acne.
BTW, where in my post did I say I was perfectly healthy as well? You don't know me at all, so back off and stop acting like a child. Oh, I would never take advice from someone like you anyway. Not from someone with that kind of negative attitude.
Try dealing with acne for 14 fucking years and tell me it's "just acne." Avoiding social gatherings, having trouble getting dates, feeling so self conscious that I have to coverup my acne before I leave the house, going to every fucking dermatologist around and trying every topical medication or pill, and having nothing work. Also changing my diet, and not having that work. Don't give me that shit. Those are all things I've struggled with and still am. I don't give a shit, I'll play the immature game too. You can go to hell.
The worst part of having bad acne is the thought that it might never end.

Haha wow Fare Thee Well I am in awe of your reply.
Comparing acne to life threatening diseases like cancer and HIV/AIDS makes no sense whatsoever.
This is acne.org and is a place to learn and more importantly VENT about what you are dealing with, with people that understand. If talking about how annoyed you are with everyone having clear skin but yourself on a forum keeps you from being depressed or even committing suicide (because i know many people on here have thought about it) then so be it.
People don't want to hear the whole "be thankful you have all your arms and legs" lecture on a site about acne. We are obviously thankful we are healthy but that has nothing to do with what we are here to talk about.
Everyone here lives in shame and fear of what they look like and it is horrible. Going years without any confidence or self esteem is a terrible thing to go through and it is something myself and everyone else here is dealing with.
No disrespect, but you are here for the wrong reasons.

I know this feeling too well. It doesn't really make me "sick" though, it annoys and angers me more than anything; because yes, majority of people with clear complexions don't understand how lucky they are. Why should they get to have pretty skin, and I get bumps? Doesn't seem fair.
I know it's wrong to compare yourself to one with Cancer, Diabetes or some other horrible disease but that's how I feel. Like I have a horrible disease. I want clear skin more than anything in the world. ANYTHING.
Which may sound shallow, but I'm just being honest.
However, this isn't the thing I hate most about having acne, it's the feeling of getting a NEW pimple when you think you're on the verge of being clear. It makes me physically sick.
I hate acne and I always look at other people and wonder why do they stay so clear without doing any thing special? Do you ever wonder why celebrities stay so clear? They really have to tell us the secret, it can't be a coincidence that they are all so naturally clear, especially the teens.
gays getting married and all this bs is going is down right disgusting.
Well folks, this comment here explains a lot ^^^^
No use arguing with someone like this. Better off reporting him and moving on.
it's my opinion, my freedom of expression on the internet
Its funny if someone agrees with homos getting married no one jumps, but if someone disagrees same sex marriage all hell breaks loose.
people who moan about one tiny pimple
people who refer to hyperpigmentation saying they are scarred
people who say 'i never used to have acne and now my life is ruined'...try having acne from age 10, my entire life revolves around acne.
Yes, yes and yes. I, too, have had acne since age 10, and have real scars--not just hyperpigmentation--to prove it. Ugh.
