I have been suffering with acne since my first pimple in 5 th grade now I am a senior and its getting worse. I have use alot of products but istop using them after 2 months with no results.
My self esteem has went so low .
I am so stress about it.
I dont know what to do no more .

Somethings that have worked for me is a simple system, i dont mean to just hit you with some basic material in which youve probably heard already. But my personal experience with it was always breaking out everyone once in a while. You can try this and see if it works, I usually lather on cetaphil cleanser on my face until it kind of hardens or absorbs. I then proceed to wash it off either in the sink or with a nice lukewarm water shower (Keep in mind Hot showers causes dry skin). I then do a gentle salycilic acid scrub such as st,Ives Apricot. The reason i use salycilic acid and not benzoyl peroxide is because i think it just way to harsh of chemical to be used on the skin. I then put on a cetaphil moisturizer ( i use cetaphil because its the most gentle ive used so far and its working and its non fragrant ). Lastly i apply a couple drops of Jojoba oil on the top layer of my face. Jojoba oil is very similar to the oils that your pores produce, It is used to usually stop and prevent the over production of oils which causes acne ( i do all this at night). Then when you wake up your face should feel really moisturized subtracting the clogging of pores. And then when you wake up just gently wash your face with the cetaphil cleanser. Go search for the best derm in your town and give him your total background history on what u have taken/done and listen to what his take is on it. And do exactly what he tells you to do. Get bloodwork taken and give it to him and your housedoctor to make sure it's not the cause of something else. Avoid things that are PROVEN that they irritate the skin.
Contrary to belief, washing your face too much does more harm then good. Twice a day is enough(morning, evening), with mild temperature, not with hot water.
Drink plenty of water, 1000 researchs been done that shows its beneficial for you.
btw your not alone with that insecurity feeling man, I can bet you that every single one on this forum has and still have those insecurities!
I'm not sure how much my diet affects my acne but i do use apple cide vinegar, coconut oil, lemon juice, omega 3 pills, try to limit my dairy to only eggs. And at times I do think, what's the point, but I keep at because maybe these little thing will give me a better result in the end. Even tho im not sure it will.

ps: 22 years old almost 23 never had a gf.. not end of the world but my fault was I can't love somebody else if I never was able to love myself. Don't make the same mistake i did. LOVE YOURSELF and love will find you!
EDIT: Forgot to add that sleep is also a great factor in our healing proces of our body, so try to get 7/8 hours of sleep every day
