key, so my story starts like most others, at the age of puberty i started devoloping acne. Nothing major really, i regurlary had like twenty or so zits but no one gave me a hard time for it so didn't really care. My back was much worse but that didn't bother me. At the age of 17-18 things started changing though and my face started to get really bad. I developed huge cysts on my cheeks and chin, and worse, massive inflamed boils between my eyes. This made me really depressed, so got an appointment with a derm. He prescribed me with some antibiotics which helped good. I was pretty much acne-free for a few months, when the zits and boils, of course, returned with a vengeance. My face was worse than ever, and the boils right over the nose was getting bigger.
This was unbeareble for a teenager with low confidence, so one again, i ended up at the derm. Once again i got some antibiotics, once again it cleared, and once again, it came back, like expected. So i was prescribed with, guess what? Yes, more antibiotics.
This actually lasted for a good while, but at the age of 22, to my surprise, the acne returned.
The zits i could handle, but the boils i could not, so i got a surgery too remove the sebacious glands in that particular area, which left me with a scar of course.
Screw it, i thought, at least i don't have to worry about the boils. The antibiotics cleared me up once again, but from experience, i new it would come back.
So about a year later i started getting zits. Not nearly as much as before, so it was manageable.
Until last year, when huge cysts surfaced ON the side of my nose. Only on one side, and not the other. I find this really strange since my other side is practically pimple-free. One day i developed a cyst the size of a dime which have left the skin so damaged i'm afraid will never fully heal.
It seemed to irrated the skin around it in some strange way, because since that one my skin in that area has been somewhat red and inflamed.
So, in october last year i once again got a huge zit (the size of a pee roughly). This ass**** has not fully dissapeard since. It keeps filling up, erupts, filling up, and erupts and so on. For five freaking months. It just wont go away.
I went to derm again, tired of my skin and got prescribed accutane. I had read so much bad about this drug, so i was really reluctant of using it. I actually left in my clouset for almost four months, until four weeks ago i finallly decided to start the course.
My face has actually cleared up really well, my forehead, cheeks and chin looks better than it has for years except for the pimple/zit/cyst whatever it is on my nose which just wont go away. It hasnt improved att all.
I realize this text became way too long, but i recconed i needed some backround story to get correct answers, which is:
Suggestions on have to hande the f-r on my nose? It seems to be really determined on staying.
After the boil i got last year, the skin on the side on my nose looks damaged and red, like slighly raised up from the rest of the skin surrounding ut. Anybody recogize this, and has experience in treating it?
My main-language is not english, so please beware of bad grammar .
Thanks!
I don't mean to alarm you, but you might want to go back to the derm and have that recurring pimple on your nose tested for basal cell skin cancer (assuming you have not already - I can't tell from your post when you lasted visited the derm). I really don't want to freak you out, and may just be a really stubborn cyst, but I would definitely get it looked at.

Yeah, i've definently thought about that, and told my derm. He just looked at it and laughed, basically, said it's just a stubborn pimple. I'm going back on wednesday to demand and a second look.
Skin lightning:
Thanks, i will look at that, but my zit is on my nose, and not in it.
Okey, so i'm back now a half a year later. The Accutane treatment has worked perfectly. My skin looks great (alltough very dry and flaky, but thats to be expected) - except this horribly annoying swelling on the nose that just won't dissappear. It doesn't seem to fill upp and erupt anymore, instead it just gets slightly raised and red, and then almost vanishes for a few days before it it returns again. When it "dissapears" new skin seems to form in that area but the new skin eventually (three-four days later) falls off, seemingly because the swelling underneath it pushes the new skin out.
I've been to the derm like four times (he must think im crazy) but he keeps insisting that it's just a normal skin lesion that will fade away during treatment. Well, the treatment is almost over, so i think if it was going to erase it, it should have done that by now, right? It's not normal to have this kind of pimple for almost a year. Have any of you ever heard of something like this? What should i do? I'm going nuts!
