Did Italy Clear My Skin Up?

Hi all! I was studying abroad in Rome this past fall for 4 months. I have always had really problematic skin...if I stick to DK's regimen i can usually keep it relatively under control, but for the past 5 years of my life (I'm 21 now) it has been terrible. While I was in italy, my skin drastically improved! I still wore makeup, did not change my skincare routine at all and in fact was probably taking worse care of my skin than I normally did because I was constantly traveling, forgetting to wash my face, etc but my skin was almost blemish free. When I got back to the States a month go, my skin freaked the heck out and now it's the worse it's been in a long time. Got a bunch of nasty cysts on my chin and cheeks and bumps everywhere. Again, haven't changed any of the products I've been using (purpose face wash, DK's benyzol peroxide, and cervae PM moisturizer at night) and i've been very diligent with my skincare routine. Anyone have any insight as to why this happened and how i can get back to my clear skin...? Would love to go back to the clear skin with little upkeep I experienced while abroad...just another reason why I'm longing to go back to Italy! Thanks for your thoughts!

Could be something you ate differently, could have been something you were drinking differently, could have had something to do with the water you were washing your face with. Could be a lot of things. But my first guess would be diet, maybe something to do with soy, as I'm guessing soybean oil isn't used as much in Italy as it is in the states (if that's where you're from).
