I had a real deep box scar on my nose, centre right on the cartilage. It was embarrassing and much deeper than any i had seen on here before. It made me depressed, and im not new to scarring, i have loads.

It was 2 weeks old, the redness had gone and it wasnt a wound or anything, so i dedcided to do something drastic, to self needle the scar.

I used an insulin needle from home, new from the packet and gently needled the scar. It wasnt painful at first, but anyway after i had needled i put some anitsceptic healing gel on, which contained aloe vera.

The next morning it had scabbed and after a few days of moisturising it came off.

TBH i wasnt expecing much, people have it done professionaly and still arent pleased with the results, and i was quite nervous.

Scab off and the skin is flat underneath, a tiny bit pink but flat. I can see the pores too, Its not painful anymore, or open wound.

fast forward a week- flat skin. No redness.

I do have a small pimple on my nose now though, just above where i did the needling -_-
