Acne Scarring

Ok, I am a 17 year old guy and my acne has press over my checks chin and forehead for the past 2 years. I have been popping the pimples pretty much for that long. I am almost done with my acne treatment but scars are staying. All I want to know is if these scars will be gone for good (none of them are indented, just dark). How long do you think it will take and will there be any scarring left? Also, no matter what I do, if my face is completely clean, then I stop using my medicine and treatment, I see 2-3 pimples come back within a day. How do I get it to completely stop. I washed my face an hour ago so it may be agitated but that might help show which are pimples and which are scars. I only missed one day of washing (yesterday) and I took a selfie to see the difference and you can see what it looks like not agitated. Please let me know what I can do about this and if it will go away completely.

Generally speaking I think you will have to continue using the treatment daily to keep the acne at bay. I guess it's something people either grow out of, or keep having to treat, with the exception of some successful accutane users. Having said that a very very high percent of people grow out of teen acne, just keep up with the treatment for now if it's working for you.

The red marks will likely fade over a couple months time, since they're just hyperpigmentation marks. Just make sure you treat your skin well with moisturiser, and don't get a massive amount of sunlight on them, or they tend to stick around longer.

Best of luck, and I hope this helps! (:

Ps - Welcome to the forums~

Thanks! And in the best way possible I hope my stay at this forums isn't very long.

Try Cicraticure. Helps remove scars or acne scars in this case. They sell it in Walgreens and works great for my friend who use to have acne.
