Hey everyone, I had had mild acne for many years and it has gotten worse due to the winter weather and dry climate so I started moisturizing after cleansing twice a day now to help (still feels a bit oily in some places and dry in others.). My question is, should i moisturize or what is my problem? I get flaky dry skin near my jaw and I have no pimples there but the spot that is not dry, my forehead and cheeks and nose, i have whiteheads and red small bumps there. So should i be moisturizing this to control my oil glands or should i be washing it more?

Also, I have red marks and small bumps left from where my pimples where that have not yet healed. The spots where my scars and bumps are are the spots that I do NOT shave. I never exfoliate so I was thinking maybe shaving helped to get rid of the scars and I should shave higher up to hit more of my cheek or find some natural exfoliator (don't wanna try new products and upset skin). These marks are not fading but the ones I get where I shave go quick. Any tips?
