For the last two years, whiteheads have been gradually developing all over my face. I never used to have a whitehead problem nearly as bad, and I thought it was because I had gone off of birth control and my body was reacting. I went to a dermatologist and he said to go back on birth control and to start doing chemical peel treatments every month. He said I wouldnt notice a change untill about 3 months. After about six months, I didnt really notice any significant change and all the peels were doing was making my face that much more irritated and raw. So i stopped going for the peels and have remained on birth control since then. I have tried everything from different face washes, exfoliating at least two times a week, masks, and eventually just got fed up with the whiteheads so I started to pick and they are just re appearing in the same spot after a couple days. A girl I know told me it could be an imbalance of something inside my body and to get blood work done. At this point I dont know what to do as it is getting worse all over my chin and cheeks and my face looks extremely bumpy in certain lights. Just wondering if anyone has gone through the same thing and has found anything that worked?! thanks
