I have noticed over the years my face has increasingly become darker than my neck and body. It could be from years of attempting to correct my hyperpigmentation with exfoliants, over exfoliating and occasionally hydroquinone.
My question is, has anyone with brown skin had this issue? What did you do/use to even out your skin tone? Please no HQ
I don't have brown skin so I can't help you with that, but if you are looking for an alternative to hydroquinone, you can try kojic acid. It's used in many lightening / evening-out serums. It's best to only use it a night, though, because it can make your skin more sensitive to the sun...but not as bad as hq.
