I've been dealing with acne since I was probably 13. However, for the past 2 years I have been dealing with white pus filled pimples on my face and body. When I went to the doctor they give me a pill and topicals to take for a month but it didn't help. I would like to know how to prevent them. Is the cause oil or bacteria?

Your skin releases oil across your face to keep it hydrated and protected, but these oils can sometimes build-up in your pores, causing bacteria to get trapped in, creating pimples.

Do you wash your face with a facial cleanser? If you do, how many times a day?

so its both, oil causing bacteria growth then the white pus pimples?

i shower once a day and wash my face twice a day. i get these pimples on my face and body.

i use neutrogena face wash that has benzoyl or sometimes i used a face cloth & cetaphil anti-bac bar soap to scrub my face.

i use cetaphil's anti-bacterial bar soap for my body. but recently ive been using a tea tree oil bar soap but it hasn't stopped pimples either.

Pimples are caused by oil and sweat. I have pimples too, I don't have that that much but I used proactive. It does help but I noticed that the wash was making my face dry so I stopped using it. I remember about this green tea wash that helps ( never tryed it) i forgot the name of it. Now I don't use anything so yup neutrogena kinda hellps for me but works for my family
