With many years of experience of always popping and squeezing pimples, I have discovered how to not leave any indented scars behind. And I would like to share my secret with many people suffering from indented scars and lack of confidence because of it. Whenever you decide to pop a pimple, be sure to buy some Vaseline. Once you pop it, use a wet tissue to dab it clean and then put a thick layer on top of the pimple to seal it off. I usually do this at night, so after I can go sleep and no one can see. The next day, it would look a little depressed;however, put a thin layer of vaseline over the pimple ONLY (because this would help raise the skin). Repeat this for another day and you would see a scab. Continue with the Vaseline.

However, if you didn't apply Vaseline to the scar immediately then it would be too late. But, I have a solution to indented scars as well. I'm a bit OCD with popping pimples and done a lot of research on how to get rid of indented scars that have healed. From researching, it appears that dermaroller helps with indented scars. It uses many micro needles to help poke tiny holes to help regenerate collagen. So I have this tiny hole (from squeezing a pimple) that always bothered me and whenever I looked in the mirror, it was the first thing I saw. Instead of buying a dermaroller, I sterilized a needle from my sewing kit and poked at it (kinda scary). It bleed and the skin was depressed. I was a bit scared because it was on the center of my forehead. I keep putting Vaseline (a dab of it) on it religiously for about 3 days even when the scab was formed. To my surprise, when the scab came off my small indented scar was gone. Thank goodness!! And no indented scar too from all the poking. Scary. From this experience I can say the derma roller would work for indented scars.
