for 1 month! iam deciding if i go for accutane or not. i have pernament mild acne (nothing worked tried evrything lol) with red marks and ultra oily forehead/nose, i dont fear of cracked lips, blood nose, dry skin, pain, i dont care, because i would do anything on the world for clear skin even exchange it for my finger on hand lol!
BUT iam so afraid of initial breakout, i heard that its pretty overrated and only 1/3 patients have it and its not even that bad and even my doctor said that i will not have it, 2-3 zits at most but there is still a chance.
so on one side if accutane would help me i would be happiest person in the world
on other side if accutane triggers me worse acne or even cystic acne, i would die or better to be inprisoned and captured, i know on 100% that i wouldnt be able to handle bad IB. but i couldnt handle my pernament acne either. LOL i dont know what to do.

Ok, I understand your desperation for clear skin, we've all been there, but accutane is NOT AT ALL worth it. The after effects of this are so bad that you will hate yourself for choosing this. I think this http://www.thelovevitamin.com/6863/dont-take-a-chance-with-accutane-i-did-and-im-still-living-with-the-severe-side-effects-years-later/ just about sums up what I'm trying to say.
You have MILD acne, so accutane is absolutely unnecessary. Some other products with salicylic acid may help, these products are still harsh to the skin, but they're worth a try.

Sounds like an awkward situation. Listen to what others who have taken accutane recommend, (because your active acne isn't bad at all in the pictures) however if you do decide to do it and it doesn't work, then at least you know it doesnt work. All the best
I'm more than 4 months through my course of Accutane.
I had the worst initial breakout possible, it was horrific. My skin was the worst it had even been, I felt so bad about myself, all I wanted to do was cry.
But then, something amazing happened... each day I would wake up and look in the mirror to see skin that was marginally better than the previous day. Now, 4 months later, the difference is incredible.
The thing is, no matter how bad your IB is, you know your skin will be clear by the end of the course, that thought was the only thing that kept me going during those dark days.
Check out my log to see my before and now pictures
What other things have you tried for your skin?

I had similar problem. I had mild/moderate persistent acne (I'm 18). I'd say take the plunge! i didn't notice an initial breakout but looking at pictures i DEFINATELY had an IB, even though it wasnt terrible but the accutane redness plus sore pimples definitely didnt look good. The thing i noticed the most after 2 week was SO many blocked pores, many of which left on the 4th month isn (IM ON MONTH 5 NOW) and some i picked which i HIGHLY do not recommend as EVERY single blocked pore i picked turned into a red pimple. I'm now on month 5 and havent had an active pimple in about 2 weeks just redmarks now. My back and shoulders on the other hand not so good. I didnt have a problem there but since starting accutane i have broken out SO much! It dosent affect as i can cover it up.
As of side effects, i have problems with vision at night, redness, lips and dry skin and lower back pain. Apart from that i'm great, if this is a price to pay for clear skin I'd not hesitate and do it all over again. It is not for everyone though.
Best wishes and keep us updated.
