Should I Stop Using A Cleanser If It Makes My Face Red And Itchy?

The cleanser is this one: http://www.simple.co.uk/our-products/product/kind-to-skin-refreshing-facial-wash-gel.html

I'm pretty new to all this. I've had mild acne since I was 13-14 but just accepted it and never really done anything about it. I'm 23 now and I've decided to try something. I'm using that cleanser and Boots dermacare daily moisturizer. Only used it for 2 days so far. After using the cleanser some parts of my face go red and itchy, but only some parts. Mostly along the jawline on the left side of my face and on my neck just under there. Moisurizing afterwards somewhat helps with the itchyness but not totally.

I've done research but I don't know if this is an acceptable side effect of the cleanser, or if it means I should stop using it.

Thanks for any help

I think you need to consult a physician for better advice and medical recommendation....

The simple brand doesnt work well for my skin.... it actually made my skin so red and inflamed. Try Cerave i always have great luck with that brand- dry skin: Mouisterizing hydrating Cleanser/ Oily skin; Foaming cleanser.
