I have moderate acne but only on my cheeks. This sucks, as the pimples in these area tend to get pretty large and difficult to get rid of. I had a moment of weakness and ended up popping a few pimples (after washing my face and hands). I put antibiotic ointment on afterwards, and continued on with my day. However, I've noticed that the former pimples were now very red and irritated, and I could tell they may leave small scars. Now I've popped pimples on the occasion before, but typically they clear up quickly. Any suggestions on how to get rid of these marks and prevent/ reduce scarring?
