Hi,

Can anyone UK based acne sufferers recommend a good moisturiser? My skin has quite a lot of red marks which don't look as bad after I've washed my face. The trouble is, that my skin is very dry but most moisturisers seem to make my red marks worse.

It's a no win situation this!

I don't think a specific moisturizer will really help with red marks unless it has AHA or hydroquinone. But as far as moisture is concerned, Cetaphil and Cerave moisturizing lotions have worked well for me.

Sorry, it's not to help with red marks... I mean is there any moisturiser that doesn't irritate your red marks when you put it on. First thing in a morning is a nightmare when I'm going to work and have to leave the house but my red marks are redder due to a moisturiser

I like using emu oil. It feels soothing and makes my skin glow. My skin tends to be very red blotchy, but is not a problem when I use emu.
