How do you get rid of all the little white bumps on your face? I have a ton everywhere and nothing I do seems to get rid of them. Any suggestions would be great thank you.

When you say white bumps.. do you mean, like, white heads? The ones you can "pop" (please oh my gosh don't!)?

What is your daily routine like?

No they go away eventually although some of them do turn into white heads and don't worry I no longer pop them anymore. I wash my face twice a day with Neutrogena soap and I use a facial cleanser in the morning. Everything else I have tried doesn't help or it makes my skin burn. I use aloe vera gel if my face starts to get really dry but I haven't been using that much lately. Not since I stopped using BP.

When you say aloe vera gel, do you mean pure, organic aloe vera? Or does it have alcohol and other stuff in it?

If you use makeup you could be getting a reaction.

Or perhaps you've been in the sun recently? Skin can develop sensitivities to things that normally wouldn't aggravate your skin. It really stinks but this summer for me has been the sun and any sort of heat. I get acne even on my arms and stuff. :\

Are they kind of like clogged pores? Maybe you could incorporate exfoliating a couple times a week along with steaming your face (but not with too much steam so that it burns you). You could try using something with AHA in it?

Yes they are sort of like clogged pores. Are there any over the counter brands that have AHA in them? I can't afford anything expensive. I appreciate the help. And the aloe vera I use is not pure so I assume it does have alcohol in it. But like I said I haven't been using that lately.

I understand, yeah.. try not to use anything that will dry your skin out (alcohol) because your skin is going to try and compensate by making your skin oilier.

I agree with Tati, try steaming your face and exfoliating GENTLY with baking soda mixed with grape seed oil or something.

Try finding products online, they are usually cheaper. I use Amazon because I can get free shipping through my Prime account and I get it two days later. Just really watch out what you're putting on your face.

When in doubt purchase only products that claim to be non-comedogenic.

I have found that a prescription retinoid works the best for me. I still get them on occasion. Does anyone know if its normal to have a few clogged pores all the time? Its like I can never have just 0...but I don't know if skin can ever be that completely clear? I have oily skin. I rarely get inflamed pimples.
