I'm on The Regimen. Because I cannot use DK's products in my country, I'm using celeteque acne cleansing gel with hydroxy acids. Then treat with benzac ac5%. I moisturize with water based and oil free hydration moisturizer by celeteque.
What is your exact routine? What cleanser are you using? What other products?
Is this a sign that my face is purging? The puss are little but a lot. I'm only in the regimen for a week.
How many times a day are you washing? How many times a day are you using the benzac? Can you please list the ingredients for your cleansing gel (or post a link to the website)? The cleansing gel may be too harsh for your skin. Steer clear of cleansers that contain sodium laureth sulfate or any ingredient that says any version of 'laureth' or 'sulfate' and parabens.Give your skin 2 days off from the benzac, to allow the inflammation to settle down and allow for healing. After those two days, cut back the use of benzac to once, every other night. Being gentle to your skin is a more effective approach to take for treating acne. Aggressive treatments would seem to be the answer for a problem as aggressive as acne, but being harsh with the problem only exacerbates the issue.

Thanks for the reply 3lilpigs!
I wash two times a day, in the morning and night. I apply Benzac after each wash.

It has no sodium laureth sulfate, or laureth and sulfate. I don't rub when I wash. I precisely follow Dan's regimen and I try to be gentle as possible. Right now, I'm on my Day 8 on the regimen and the puss has decreased. I noticed that my bumps have also surfaced and some of them have heads now, but I resist on touching them. My face has become dry and flaky and itchy too which are to be expected, so It's okay.

Am I doing this right? Maybe I should cut back on the BP as you suggested.
I'm preparing myself for more breakouts and dryness and peeling for the next week.
There is hope.
Please don't use a scrub. A scrub would lead to irritation.
I just checked your cleanser and it contains hydroxy acids which are exfoliants. You need a gentle cleanser that contains no form of acne treatment whatsoever. Get Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser.
Your moisturiser seems okay though.

Thanks for the tip. I will get a much gentler cleansing wash tomorrow.
