Hi all, I've had perioral dermatitis for abt 4 years now. I'll spare you the full story but in a nutshell, I'd been using a cortisone cream since the diagnosis and stopped a couple weeks ago. I'm now using elidel, metro lotion and an oral antibiotic, but I am noticing these bumps (see pic), also. My perioral derm consists of small, whitehead-like bumps on my chin (which, as a whole, itches)... And these bumps are totally different.

I get them on my cheeks and chin, and they are not even remotely inflamed. They're large and flesh-colored, and they pop up in clusters and last a couple days-week. Is this non-inflamed acne? Another form of perioral dermatitis? I should mention the pic is from before I stopped using the cortisone cream... So while I know cortisone use can lead to acne (well, and perioral derm), stopping the cortisone cream didn't cause it.

Would appreciate input on just what these bumps are -- and what I can do abt them! Some extreme googling hasn't brought about anything comparable. Thanks in advance.post-211515-0-64463100-1371961771_thumb.

Anyone? Wondering if they could be cysts, even if they are not inflamed. I have several on my cheek and chin right now.

So I assume you've already googled the crap out of "keratin bumps"?
