Hello this is my first post and I wanted to start off by saying hello everyone! I have had moderate acne for 3 years now its spread out all over my face. I am using a 10% benzoyl peroxide cream twice a day for over 1 year. I apply it when I wake up leave it on for 5 mins and wash it out same for at night. I recently got a liquid 2% salicylic acid product that you would use a cotton swab to apply. My question is should I use the SA before the BP or should I use it the other way around. My skin is tolerable to the products and I intend on using them twice a day unless someone tells me otherwise. Also I heard that before you apply any product that you should take a cloth, soak it hot water, wring it out, and just wash your face with it to remove any dirt on the skin. Is this a good thing or should I avoid it? If you guys could reply to this that would be great, and I am sorry if this has already been answered.

Well if the SA product is a toner or astringent then you should use that first, then the BP. 10% twice a day for a year seems harsh, your skin isn't dry from it?

I have only used the BP for a year, should I only use it once?

Well if it works for you and it's not drying your skin out then its up to you, if you're gonna do once a day maybe try leaving it on while you sleep.
