Hello everyone,
At the moment, I have about two pimples on my chin but my face is filled with scars. Some of them are superficial (like acne spots fading away) other are deeper (like actual holes). But they are NOT too deep, meaning that when I apply concealer, you can barely delineate them.
My right cheek has deeper scars my left cheek seems ok but has fading spots.
I want to try Jessner's peel. But I also want to just have even skin. What would you recommend for both acne spots and scars?
And plus is microderbrasion any good?

Tim, did you do it on your own or saw a dermatologist? I am just worried that if I do it on my own, I will screw things up.... and also how long was the down time? I exfoliated my skin yesterday with this Clarins product and even that helped! My skin is whiter. And also what specific product did you use? My friend just wrote and recommended to do laser resurfacing with those that left tracks... Just want to get my act together and just make these scars disappear. I am looking at my skin now and it is amazing that my acne does not look that bad because scars look lighter. I guess my scars have been screwing with my head and making me insecure.

Oh sorry... I have Irish ancestry, so my skin is reallyyyy white... like if some tiny spot is on my face, it becomes really visible.

I will tell you why I am worried... it all boils down to "oil" in the ingredients and I have combination skin... will it make things worse? I don't know girl... ever since I started going on a date, I am feeling even more anxious on getting rid of scars... what the hell is wrong with me?

I understand! Everyone is different, there's no telling what will or won't work for individuals. I'm just wanting to yell from the mountaintop what worked for me.
You could always try a little on a patch of skin to test.
My skin is SO sensitive and it works for me, that's all I can say.
When I wax my upper lip ( yeah that's right, I'm a polish girl), my skin becomes severely red and inflamed!! I look like a freaky clown! I put the emerald shield on and within 20 minutes, no rash, no redness etc

I did them on my own and there was no real down time. Sometimes my face would be red in certain areas for a few days, other than that there was just some minor peeling a few days after I would do it and I was at the max amount of time. I've used one by skin beauty solutions (30%) and perfect image (20%), I got them both of Amazon. There's some good info on how to apply in the reviews.

Ok, bought sesame oil ( will start oil pulling tomorrow), ordered pure Kamami oil from amazon, and now will give a SA peel a shot. Made an appointment for Jessner's peel with the dermatologist. I truly hope that I will be seeing progress.
