So I started taking my acne seriously and getting into the wonderous world of acne treatment products. I'm using a non-comedogenic facial cleanser paired with 5% benzoyl peroxide. I use the cleanser , pat dry with a towel, wait a couple minutes until its dry then I apply the 5% benzoyl peroxide.
But here's my problem ! Once I applied a generous quantity of it. After a little while I feel it starts drying up. Leaving a weird flaky feeling . I don't think its my skin but just the product drying up and becoming flaky. I'm using the benzagel brand , did anyone have this problem with this product ? I apply water over it and it becomes creamy again afterwise.
Thoughts ? Help ? :b I don't want little pieces of cream flying all over.
How much BP are you applying to your skin? You should be starting off with a small amount, not slathering on your skin, try recuding the amount or maybe try applying it when your skin is still damp and the water on the skin may help it absorb better into the skin instead of sitting on top of it.
It's been 3 weeks so according to people it should be enough for my skin to be used to it. Thats why I'm trying to use more. Thanks I didn't think about using it while my skin is still damp . Maybe that oughta help make the cream less thick. Im still looking for more opinions on this :3
