Looks like a standard acne 'cluster', looks slightly cystic with the odd blackhead, the dark purple looks like its filled with blood where you've irritated it (did you try to pop it?). I'd stick to what your derm suggests for now

No I didn't pop it. But earlier when I was doing some push ups and was sweating heavily, It felt like it was irritated. Could that be the cause?
