Benzoyl Peroxide Making Skin Oilier?

I have been using benzoyle peroxide gel on my face followed by a moisturizer in the morning and in the evening before bed and I have noticed that late in the afternoon my forehead gets insanely oily to the point it looks like I have been running a marathon or something. It has to be at least in part because of my routine but I am wondering if anyone else has had this experience and if so if they have had any luck tweaking their routine to reduce the oiliness?

Had the exact same problem. I think I reduced my oil production through diet changes to address vitamin deficiencies

I was very very oily while using BP, and I think it was because my skin was getting very dry and overcompensating for it. I was a grease pit.

I have however, stopped using BP (I became allergic) and have very little oil on my skin.
