Just wondering if anyone else enjoys tanning their skin to make their acne look better? Or if anyone has found that tanning helps temporarily clear their skin up?

Before Accutane I used to use tanning beds a lot, can't say it reduced the number of spots but being brown made me feel so much better.

Nearly a decade on, post Accutane I still have acne but now it's mild to moderate, not really cystic any more, and I find that if I go in the sun for long enough my skin clears up almost completely, I stayed in a hot climate for 6 weeks last summer and felt happy with my skin :) However I have recently been battling a bad outbreak that's lasted about 2 months, just come back from a 12 day Caribbean holiday and obviously 12 days in the sun were not enough :( Hardly use tanning beds these days either as I don't have access to them, however would be interesting to see how my skin would react after having a consistent course of them.

I started for the first time last summer and it worked great, just made my face really red because I use a bp gel & that already makes my face red so the tanning made it redder, but it eventually turned to tan. I'm actually going to start again in April.
