Weird Question?

When I wash my face at night should I wash it with hot water then put my epiduo on or should I wash with hot water then cold water to close my pores & then put my epiduo on?

I always wash with hot only at Night & I feel like my pores are open while I sleep & could be breaking me out but then again they need to be open for the epiduo to work right?

Opinions please

Don't use hot water at all. It almost startles the face into extensive oil production and would most definitely cause you to break out.

Make sure to only use lukewarm or even cold water. I use only cold water on my face an it has completely cleared my skin.

Your topical will be absorbed into your skin regardless. Opening your pores will not make it any more effective.

I used to always use hot water thinking I was doing my face good by almost burning it - it actually causes more damage than good. Try lukewarm (cold with a hint of warmth) and then apply your epiduo. Your skin will feel a lot more refreshed compared to tight/dry.

By the way, this isn't a weird question at all!

Hope it works out for you. Also be as gentle as possible when washing and applying your epiduo. :)

Nope. Acne can appear anywhere on the face so it's better to be safe than sorry. When I used BP gel, I put it all over too.
