So I don't know if I have cystic acne or what the hell it is but now it's only in the area under my lips like on the left and side of my chin and it's been there for about 2 years now. I think it's just that for some reason that certain area won't let my damn facial hair come through. I'll get a pimple, 2 or 3 and tell myself okay once these go away I'll be fine and clear and then I literally get a new one as soon as they go away it's pretty interesting. I take doxycycline, which my idiot doctor wasn't able to refill my prescription the other day so I'm going to go about a week off of it, lets see how this goes! So there's some background info.
My reason for posting this is that it seems that every time I put 10% BP on one of the red bumps it quickly turns it into a whitehead and then I am able to rub it with hot water and push out the puss with my tongue from in the inside or just squirm my face around until puss comes out. I've found that that is the best way to get rid of pimples without popping them too for everyone out there!!!
So does BP cause whiteheads? It definitely doesn't make any of my pimples go away, it just turns them into white heads. Anyone know anything? Also, should you put BP on a pimple after it's been popped? I usually tend not to if I can't see any white bacteria in the pimple anymore.

I put it on all the areas, because even if the pimple in question has gone down, all the surrounding pores are still vulnerable to bacteria and clogging. BP does bring some of mine to a head but not all of them, cysts are very different to smaller blocked pores like blackheads or pustule type spots. My whole nose is clogged pores that come out with little resistance and rarely form into a huge pimple. 10% BP is very strong, you could cause extra redness where you don't really need to. I'm trying to work out how to balance the duac with moisture as my skin is so dry with BP on, and dry skin can still trap bacteria.
BP seems to be drying out my skin and causing one layer of skin to flake and peel off. Obviously when this happens to sonething with pus in, the pus can get out easier thru thinner skin.
