I don't know for certain, I've never been on accutane but my understanding of it is that it can make your skin very sensitive to light. Something to do with the high levels of vitamin A in it. The Lumie uses LED lights which shouldn't be that invasive. Having said that, my Lumie always leaves my skin very red and irritated looking, but that could be because I have stupidly sensitive skin. If your skin isn't that sensitive you should probably be okay check with your doctor, but I think it would be safe.
