So ive made posts before. Basically, my entire right cheek, left cheek, chin, forehead, neck etc is covered in acne and painful nodules. It is so severe, I have never seen anyone with worse acne, even in pictures. My parents won't let me go on accutane, i have tried all over the counter stuff, and a bunch of antibiotics, even b5 (which i knew was a scam from the start but i was willing to try anything.)

I am now taking beta carotene because it is vitamin a and it is similar to accutane, however im highly doubting it will work. I was thinking about Photodynamic Therapy, but I dont want my face to be red for weeks because I have school... I dont know what to do anymore... Any suggestions?

What have you been applying topically to your skin? Are there any times of the year where it gets better? Have you tried some extreme diet changes? You need to go back to a dermatologist. A penicillin antibiotic for a month will help get it somewhat under control, you can't allow yourself to suffer in pain. Penicillins are bacteriacidal meaning they kill the bacteria itself as opposed to tetracyclines being bacteriastatic, they only stop the bacteria from reproducing but do not kill it off. Read through some of the diet posts on this site.

"People who are more prone to acne breakouts will have higher risks to get acne when they eat more unhealthy food. This is because food with higher content of chemicals and fat contributes to hormonal imbalance which will induce ailments such as acne.

Besides, stress is also a factor that aggravates acne. When a person is under stress, more adrenaline hormones are produced and excessive hormones are responsible for repeated acne breakouts by reducing the nutrient-absorbing capacity of the body and immediately attacking the skin. Stress actually slows down the healing process of both severe open wounds and small acne pustules since it affects the immune system of the body. In other words, adults are more prone to stress-related acne as they at higher risk of getting stress.

Deficiency of certain nutrient in body especially vitamin may lead to acne aggravation. Acne development is closed related to Vitamins A, B, C, E and zinc. Vitamins act as antioxidants that assist skin in elimination of toxins and harmful free radicals. Lack of vitamins will increase the exposure of skin to toxins and bacteria that may contribute to development of acne"
