Hello! I'm 15 years old. male. I'm gonna give you a clear back story about my situation :)

I'm still studying. for the past 3 years, I have a very, very clear skin. Last year, small pimples started to join the pic. after that I went on to the new school year in high school. For the first months of my school year I have clear skin. I only had a couple of pimples on my forehead. That didn't bother me much. As the months pass by, I have been developing larger pimples on my face, especially those on my cheeks. But still it didn't bother much. just last November I started to have this "small bumpy pimplish elevations that are really small but visible" on my cheeks. and their a lot! I have no Idea what these things are. It stayed on my cheeks until now. That! bothered me! I feel like I have a piece of froggish skin on my cheek because of those "small bumpy pimples that are not pimples (I have no Idea what it's called!) After that, it was Christmas and I'm on vacation. My acne breakout became more and more heart crushing. I'm now focusing on my cheeks. It really looks ugly because i'm having large pimples that sometimes go so red and big. Others grow big and develop yellow pus inside. (Still I don't know what it's called- that yellow thing inside) I wanna find a solution for my cheeks. With the mighty power of the small bumpy empty pimples I call "Froggish piece of skin!" plus the horror of the big mountain like pimples that sometimes grow yellow stuff inside it I feel like I should kill myself! I really need help! what do you recommend me to do? Especially on my cheeks? I sometimes sleep late because I need to finish a lot of homework. I use a separate Dove soap for my face and I rinse it a bit harsh. (in the past months I have tried a lot of soaps on my face, such as maxipeel and a korean bamboo soap thing. Do you think it has something to do with my acne breakout?) Then my mom applies this chinese product that's in a red plastic container named Chinese BL: Antifungal Cream. my mom said it will heal the pimple scars. please advise me on more stuff I should do! I'm in a really heart crushing situation. :(

Is there still hope for my cheeks to clear up? :'(

Please don't use just any soap or cream or else it will get even worse trust me on this . Your best option is to go see a dermotologist and ask for help I did some research on Accutane and I'm pretty sure that will clear your skin real good I mean really get rid of that and your skin will be so perfect you will forget you even had that on your face . So what are you waiting for make an appointment go see a dermotologist now !

you're 15 it has to do with hormones. your best bet is to go to a dermatologist and ask for a topical gel and maybe even an antibiotic. Accutane is a serious drug and can have many serious side effects. if topical gels and antibiotics from the dermatologist doesn't work then you can talk to your doctor about accutane. but I do consider going out and buying a gentle facial cleanser and a good oil free moisturizer from the drug store. I've suffered from acne from the 6th grade and I am 20 years old still dealing with it today. and I'll be taking an antibiotic and I'm already using Epiduo Gel. And so far so good. but good luck and just talk to your mom. You can get Epiduo gel from a regular doctor too and if you do. I would only use it every other day for two weeks and then everyday till you see clear skin. It will dry out your skin so getting an oil free moisturizer is good and I would only apply this at night and make sure to wear sunscreen in the morning since your face will be sun sensitive and with insurance the prescription is only 35 dollars.

Hi, it more than likely is hormones however it's best to see your doctor/dermatologist who will help you with your acne. I would also recommend investing in a good facial cleanser rather than soap, I'm not sure where you are from and whether the face washes I use/have tried are available but I love Simple's products, they're especially good for sensitive skin, I also love Clearasil's spot cream, however obviously this is personal choice.

My acne isn't sever I suffer with acne on my cheeks, however I was prescribe accutane as antibiotics weren't working and I was getting re-occuring cysts. Accutane isn't all it's cracked up to be. My two cousins who are boys have both been on accutane and it worked wonders for them, their severe acne has gone and their skin is perfect. However for me it so far hasn't worked after 5months, my skin even cleared when I stopped taking accutane.

Go and see you Doctor/Derm they'll help you, but make sure you are aware of the side effects of accutane, which vary from person to person.

Hope I've helped :)

I heard Accutane can really heal pimples but it has SERIOUS side effects too so If I were you just visit a dermatologist to check your case. I have pimples too and much even worse than yours. I went to my dermatologist and she encourage me to have an anti acne facial every month plus I have to use these one set (soap, clarifying solution, toner, clindamycin) every day twice at least. I have a very oily skin and cream is not really good for me.

Piece of advice: eat healthy food it helps. Avoid soda or soft drinks. Drink plenty of water. Have at least 8 hours of sleep. Exercise. Do not touch your pimples. Visit a dermatologist
