Hi guys, I actually came upon this site because I was reading this girls review on how Proactiv made her skin really irritated and how acne.org is way better so here I am:)
I'm almost 19 and have been suffering with acne for a very long time to the point where I'm at the end of my rope because up to now I haven't found a solution to this incredibly annoying problem. I actually just got over a 2 month period were I had SEVERE acne, ughhh it was nasty, everyday a newer, bigger, nastier cyst or white head would pop up and believe me when I tell you this, my social life/confidence fell to its lowest. Thankfully it's over and I'm back to dealing with light/moderate acne problems that plague my face, neck, back, and arms. How fun. So ya that's the deal and I'm going to try the Regimen out with products from the site to see what it does for me since everyting else I've tried doesn't hepl. I'm very positive cuz the advice and research behind the site is good and doesn't make me feel like they're sugarcoating anything the way Proactiv does. Btw I tried Proactiv as well and it SUCKED!!! I'm also going to be taking Zinc supplements on top of the multivitamin I take and see what that does for me as well.
I'd like to know if anybody is dealing with some sort of acne problems on their arms and what routine they're using because i'm totally clueless on how to deal with it.
Hope Dan's Regimen does well for you all!!!!
I'm dealing with acne on my arms, chest, neck and shoulders. Being on the Regimen has kept my face somewhat clear, stupid marks are still there tho
For my body acne i'm trying a no dairy, soy, gluten, limited sugar diet. Lots of fruits and vegetables. Paleo diet pretty much. Also taking zinc, fish oil, Saw Palmetto. I believe this diet has greatly improved my acne. My arms are much clearer.
Ya having leftover marks/scarring sucks especially cuz they take FOREVER to heal ughhh. I'm really glad you mentioned taking zinc and fish oil because I remembered that they're supposed to really help with the healing process. I actually started taking zinc supplements today cuz I found that I had zinc among all the other vitamin supplements in the kitchen. I'll just start with eating better wheat priducts and less sugar to see if it helps. Thanks so much for the advice
