I would say I have mild acne, but when I do break out its on my forehead. Sometimes I get painful red pimples. I have oily skin on my forehead and with the recommendations from this site I've started applying jojoba oil mixed in with my neutrogena oil free moisture combination moisturizer. Unfortunately I still breakout, I stopped mixing jojoba oil with my moisturizer thinking that the jojoba oil was causing the breakouts. Does anybody have any advice or recommendatons?

Thanks

  • Go to bed early (10pm) and wake up early (6am). Even if you can't fall asleep, it's good to relax so your liver can rest and be ready for work the next day

  • Drink plenty of water to flush out toxins

  • Drink less soda and carbonated beverages

  • 20-30 minutes of light exercise every day, especially outdoors

  • Practice relaxation techniques to worry less

  • Get enough sleep with a regular sleep schedule

  • Eat healthy foods, chewing thoroughly to improve your digestion

  • Reduce refined sugar in your diet

  • Keep a daily food diary to see if your acne is related to certain food groups (like dairy)

  • Practice better hygiene (i.e. washing bangs and hair, cleaning hats)

  • Check if shampoos, conditioners, and hair products are irritating skin

You should also drink 2 tablespoon of Apple cider vinegar a day. It really helps. You should also try Zinc oxide which can be find in Baby Diaper rash cream it clear me up.

i havent had any breakouts lately, until i went on a snowboarding trip a few days ago. now my 1 pimple on my forehead became about 7 pimples, and 3 on my chin. I was thinking maybe it's because of my beanie and mask that i used while snowboarding. So yeah i do think headwear ( hats, caps, beanies etc) can cause forehead pimples. so make sure your caps/hats/ beanies etc are clean before you wear them.
