Hello 
I started taking Retron (accutane) 30 Mg 10 days ago! My acne wasn't that bad maybe 5-6 active spots, however I was desperate to say goodbye to acne and my doctor suggested accutane. Initially my acne improved however yesterday I notice loads of new blemishes forming under my skin...I feel so sad and depressed...all this before Christmas!!! ...how did you deal with your initial breakout? I'm using Climadycin 1% and argan oil to keep my dry skin moisturized...I decide to give up on coffee as I noticed before it was giving me bad acne before...so no lovely coffee for me anymore... it also seems that my skin its not oily anymore which is the only positive side of taking accutane at the moment! your advice would be much appreciated!!!

unfortunately there is nothing you can do except ride it out. Just do your best to put on a brave face and be prepared to lie low for a week or so if it gets really bad. Keep in mind that this is all part of the process and try not to get too dispirited
