So, I've had these two same spots for over 8 months now. I've NEVER, EVER popped any of them, yet they seem to take forever to heal... Got both of them while in tetralysal (which actually made my acne WORSE), and even though they both have been for around the same period of time, I think they are different kind of acne; the right one has a white spot on the top (the "head"?) and is flat, while the left one is a under-the-skin red spot that literally surfaced out of NOWHERE (and it doesn't have a "head''). None of them hurt. Never had. Thought I'd leave them alone and wait for them to heal on their own, but they have been EXACTLY like this for 8 months now! (the redness have decreased a little though)
Have anyone seen anything like this before? I actually don't mind having them IF their are going to fade away on their own... But is it ever happening?
Laser treatments and/or chemical peel i think would be the only option at this point. You can always try at home remedies like a egg white mask, but I certainly think lasers would be your best option. There is a procedure out there that burns your skin off and you look like a burn victim for about 4 weeks, but when your top layer of your skin grows back its as smooth and soft as your forearm. I can't remember the name of it, but the skin clinic i go to offers it.
