I'm not a 100% sure how to determine if i have oily or dry skin. I'm assuming I have dry skin cause when I step out of the shower in the colder months my face will become dry and tight, which leads me to believe I have dry skin. I ask because I was recommended clinique maximum hydrator for men as a moisturizer, and it says its for people with dry skin. Thanks

 

Yeah I live in NY and the weather really fluctuates. Summers are really hot and humid, winters are cold and dry. I noticed recently that my skin is becoming really dry and tight, and when I put on my acne topicals it is difficult bc of the tightness and dryness, the topicals are difficult to spread so my skin flakes even more due to higher concentration per area.

As soon as March/April arrive, my skin is pretty oily but I rub the excess off. So I guess it really does depend on where you live.

For me, my skin does switch between oily and dry.
