First thing is first, I am not writing this blog to show off in any way! However, I want to share my current happiness with you to inspire and hopefully change your mindset into a positive and optimistic one!
So, the reason why life is good at the moment is because I have just celebrated my third month of being consistently clear Before then, I suffered from irritated, prickly rash-looking acne which covered my entire face. At the time, I felt low and ugly and didn't go out as much...which is very strange for me as I love socialising. I also had to cover my forehead with a side fringe as I had ugly brown scars and I felt so insecure when people talked to me but stared damn-right obviously at my forehead!
However, a few months ago I decided to make a decision. I was going to wave goodbye to all the tons of over-the-counter so-called acne treatments that Lord knows how much I wasted spent money on; and I vowed to myself I would never buy any ever again. Instead, I opted for argan oil- a natural, cold-pressed oil from Morocco which I got from a website. I applied it day and night, and since then my life has changed dramatically. I AM CLEARRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
It feels so wonderful being clear and my skin has never looked so luscious and dewy. If things couldn't be better, I celebrated my birthday this week and got a job offer! I think one (but not the only) reasons why I landed the job was because of my confidence, which I knew I would not have had when I had my bad skin. What's more, it was so wonderful celebrating my birthday with my friends and not having to constantly think whether the lighting was making my acne look more worse than they actually are!
To say that I do not get a spot now again would be a lie. However, they go as quick as they appear. Plus, I have realised that when I gob down 5 or more chocolate in a day (yes, I know, greedy me) the acne appears just beneath the skin. So I quickly whip out the argan oil, drink some herbal tea and take some multivitamin supplements. So the correlation between diet and acne is definitely true. What's more, I realise that I can do with just washing my face with water as the argan oil is natural and does not contain harsh ingredients which other moisturising creams have; thus I can afford just to cleanse my face with water and feel confident that my skin is clean.
So what is this post trying to shed light on? Well, I am trying to say things definitely does get better! There is light at the end of the tunnel, and when it comes, boy oh boy, does it feel like heaven! I never want to go back to the self-conscious life I lived before, and I encourage anyone who has sensitive skin like myself, and is contemplating trying a strictly au natural product to do it.
For me it was the best decision I have ever made!
Best of luck to all you fighters out there!
That's awesome !! I fell the same way but I'm not completely clear, just have scars to fade... and yes I agree with you!!! Acne treatments are such a waste of money

hmm interesting.. I was just thinking about using extra virgin olive oil to fade my red marks, I heard this family friend of mine used its helped her significantly, do you know if argan oil is similar? Can you post a link where you bought it from?
Hey, I bought argan oil from this great website: http://www.fushi.co.uk/face-care/oils/argan-oil-organic.html
I live in the UK but Im pretty sure they also do international shipping. I am not too sure about virgin olive oil...i used it once and thought it was too greasy and heavy to use on the face, plus, it is very hard to wash off completely in the mornings. Argan oil is lightwieght and non-greasy; plus a dime size can cover your entire face! Argan oil has made my skin even toned and got rid of the blotchy brownish marks I had. I do not get redness as I am black but you can do some research on the Internet
Where did you buy the Argan oil/what brand? I'm so happy for you!
And how long did it take to fade your marks on your forehead?
I bought argan oil from this website: http://www.fushi.co.uk/face-care/oils/argan-oil-organic.html
to see the final result- so smooth forehead, with no marks and no lines- it took just under a month of consistent use of argan oil both day and night 🙂
