Hi all,
I have been having very red patches on my cheekbones. It doesn't seem like the normal flush from cold weather. Is it congested skin with lots of white and black heads? I have been told that they are milia but I doubt so as milia aren't red. Also are there any solutions to treating them? I was thinking of using isolaz to clear out the pores but am kind of worried that it will just make things worse. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks in advance:)
Btw the lighting makes things look much better than it is in real life.
Your skin looks great. Just some slight irritation. Have you used anything different on your face? New Cleanser? New moisturizer? New shampoo or hair product that got on your skin?
I would not use any harsh product to fix this, it could make it a lot worst.
If you do try something to fix it try only a little on a small patch to see what it will do.

Hey,thanks so much for your reply. Actually I have been using the same products, but I did travel from a warm to cold climate. It's just quite confusing, I don't know whether if it's because there are too much white heads/black heads in that area or just pure acne?
Looks like very mild rosacea...I'm not even sure that it's accompanied by acne at all. Maybe I'm blind, but I can't see any blackheads or whiteheads?
I really hope it is not rosacea. I am currently using differin and duac gel to combat it as recommended by my derm. I'm afrai these might aggravate the condition of its rosacea

yes, both duac and differin will aggravate rosacea...differin is a retinoid which is an irritant, and the benzoyl peroxide in duac will make red marks more prominent

Oh dear, now I'm at loss as to what to do. I really need opinions as to whether I'm suffering from rosacea or not.
