what works for this type of acne??? I've had the little bumps under my lip for as long as I can remember. they are impossible to squeeze out.... i also have little bumps all along my jawline that are a little easier to squeeze out and this little white string comes out of them but they always come back.... i don't have any real pimples.... just a bunch of these damn things..... are they keratin plugs?

I have those little bumps under my lip as well. I think I started noticing them in like 7th grade? I'm 22 now. They don't really seem to go away, but they bother me less and less because they aren't as noticeable you know? You definitely don't have cystic acne though as far as I can see in your pictures. It really doesn't look bad. What are you using on your face now? What does your diet consist of? Have you tried the regimen? That might be very helpful for you. I am on the regimen now and it helps a lot with those little bumps along the jaw line. I get those too. Tazorac cream could be really great for you as well. I know what you mean about the ones that can be squeezed out but always come back. I think the best thing to do for those is treat them and let them be, try not to squeeze them so they don't get inflamed. With treatment of bp or tazorac, they will come out on their own and have less chance of coming back

Those are whiteheads. Everyone has them. What have you tried on them? What are you using now?

Ick I'm still getting over some of those myself, for me olive oil among other things irritated my skin and clogged my pores and created those annoying little bumps!

I know how you feel but they're really not that bad. Just a nuisance really. Drink lots of water as it could be a food intolerance/allergy that you're reacting to.

But like Bizz said, what's your regimen right now?

I have the same on my chin, my Derm and my Doctor told me they are milia. There are various places in the UK who will do extractions. They are commonly mistaken for whiteheads.

Hi,

Your pics actually dont look as bad as the hundreds of tiny little bumps i have all over my chin, cheeks and neck. I'm sure they're diet related cause I got them when I started the Paleo diet (high cholesterol/fat and protein). I havent been able to solve them yet but I did come to some conclusions. They are made worse by over and under moisturizing. I need to find a good balance. Over drying made it spread more (maybe it caused my own sebum production to step in and start to "moisturize" my face with sebum oil since I wasnt) and too much moisturizer makes them plumper and more noticeable. Green clay masks def help make them flatter. And my biggest revelation recently is that eating dairy makes them worse (at least for me).
